Man Beast (1956)

How bad is it? It's a standard low-budget monster flick.
Should you see it? It's not necessary. It's a good timewaster.

This is Jerry Warren's best directorial effort, probably because someone else wrote the script, so the film actually has a plot and characters. The special effects are still poor, but the monster at the end (maybe 5 minutes left of the 62) is one of the better screen yetis. The plot is about an expedition to find the abominable snowman and it has a lot of borrowed footage of climbers, who are seriously underdressed (no gloves!) for the Himalayas. The new footage doesn't quite match in clothing and gear and was shot against a black cloth, which one can sometimes see move. The head of the expedition turns out to be half-yeti and he's abducting women for breeding purposes (sorry for the spoiler)!
