Beneath the Mississippi (2008)

How bad is it? It's one of the worst-made films I've seen.
Should you see it? God, no.
Those black bars come and go randomly.
This film starts with unreadable credits and goes downhill. The sound is so muddy that dialogue can't be heard and the film color is washed out, perhaps to give a gritty feel, but just makes it hard to watch. It tries to have found footage a la Blair Witch and fails. The plot has a town disappear and a camera crew searching with a girl whose family disappeared. As they progress, they disappear, one by one. Are they all going insane or is there some other solution to the mystery? You won't car.
