Alyas Batman en Robin (1991)

How bad is it? Imagine an episode of the 1960's Batman TV show made in the Philippines for $1.50.
Should you see it? Sure, why not?
Long before the time you get to the failed bank robbery that devolves into a dance number of "At the Hop" with DC heroes (including a dwarf Spiderman), you should realize that this is an attempt to remake the campy 1960's Adam West Batman TV series. Turkey, Indonesia and Brazil have their share of remakes, but this is a rare Filipino film that doesn't involve Eddie Romero, Jesus Franco or Cirio Santiago. There's intentional humor, which is so overplayed that it falls flat, but also unintentional laughs. Essentially, the Joker gets caught, escapes, gets caught, escapes, gets caught.
